Our multi-generational family farm has been in the cattle business for over 80 years. Our cattle are raised in a sustainable environment with access to chemical-free pastures and hay. The cattle are treated in a humane manner without the use of hormones or antibiotics but with a full vaccination program.
We finish our cattle on grass. There are a number of nutritional differences between the meat of grass and grain finished animals. Meat from grass-fed cattle is lower in total fat, has two to four times more omega-3 fatty acids, are a rich source of conjugate linoleic acid and has two to four times more vitamin E than grain fed cattle.
