Otto Buck started the farm in 1947. Fred Buck and sons now operate a cow/calf operation of 240 Charolais/Hereford cattle.

We grow the hay used. It consists of a balance of alfalfa, crested wheat and brome grass. Oat bales are also fed occasionally.

The cattle are treated with Vitamin A and blackleg vaccine. Growth hormone is not used and medications are kept to a minimum.
